VARESE

Imàgo Exhibition Space

Located in the historic centre of Varese, IMÀGO Exhibition Space was inaugurated at the end of 2021 with the aim of enhancing and spreading knowledge of Giuseppe Camerini’s philosophical-mathematical works and studies, promoting temporary art exhibitions, and cultural and philanthropic activities.

Conceived as a place in which to celebrate art, in addition to the search for beauty and freedom of expression of each artist, IMÀGO hosts a selection of Camerini’s most representative and iconic productions, in which three-dimensional works, paintings, and installations stand out. A truly vast artistic heritage that the Foundation has chosen to recount by proposing a dialogue with local artists too, encouraging the exchange and circulation of creative ideas in the area. Developed over two floors, IMÀGO is connected to the noble floor of Palazzo Rasina through a Blue Room, a threshold created by GB Archidesign to recreate the environment deemed best by the artist for enjoying his three-dimensional works.

The common areas of the building house some of Camerini’s works: the three-dimensional Stròinaia—visible from the street—a paradigm of grace and essentiality, or the large Mosaic in the atrium on the first floor, that makes for interesting questions that visitors are invited to discover more about.

The location is available to host private cultural events, book presentations, charity cocktail events, and temporary shops.
